Who is Greco's Pizza?
Greco's Pizza & Pasta, located at 344 Algonquin Avenue in North Bay, Ontario, has a rich history dating back to 1913 when Oscar Greco founded Greco's Bakery with the motto ""the taste will tell."" His son, Cecil Greco, born the same year and raised in the bakery, developed a passion for baking and opened the original Greco's Pizza in 1969, upholding the quality and pride in service instilled by his father.
The restaurant is renowned for its distinctive crust, achieved by cooking pizzas directly on stone bricks using modified ovens. They prepare their dough daily with unbleached flour and fresh baker's yeast, incorporating cornmeal to create a unique texture.
